Opening and closing time
Detect the time required for the opening and closing actions of circuit breakers or switches to ensure compliance with standard requirements, and determine the response speed and stability of the mechanical transmission mechanism.
Synchronization (three-phase synchronization)
Measure the time difference of the action of the three-phase switch contacts during the opening and closing process, determine whether the three phases are synchronized, and avoid current imbalance or arc reignition caused by asynchrony.
Schedule and Overtravel
Record the total stroke and overtravel (compression after contact) of the contact, evaluate the wear of the contact, and ensure that the contact pressure meets the electrical conductivity requirements.
Opening and closing speed
Analyze the instantaneous velocity curve of the contact during the opening and closing process, determine whether there are problems such as jamming and spring fatigue, and ensure the speed and reliability of the action process.
Bounce time and frequency
Detect the duration and frequency of mechanical vibration (bounce) when the contact is closed or opened. Excessive bounce may cause arc erosion or abnormal temperature rise.
Coil current characteristics
Monitor the current waveform of the opening and closing operation coil, analyze the working status of the coil (such as whether it is stuck or the power supply voltage is insufficient), and determine whether the electromagnetic mechanism is normal.
Dynamic contact resistance
During the process of opening and closing, the change in contact resistance of the contacts was measured, and hidden dangers such as oxidation, erosion, or insufficient pressure of the contacts were discovered to avoid heating faults during operation.
Operating voltage characteristics
Test the operational performance of the switch at rated voltage, minimum allowable voltage, and maximum voltage to verify its reliability under different operating conditions.
Mechanical vibration signal
By capturing the mechanical vibration waveform during the motion process through vibration sensors, potential mechanical defects such as loose internal parts and abnormal collisions can be identified.
Energy storage time (if applicable)
For the spring energy storage mechanism switch, detect the start and stop time and energy storage completion status of the energy storage motor to ensure efficient operation of the energy storage system.
