Application Scope of Petroleum Ash Analyzer

1. Petroleum refining and processing process

Application objects: crude oil, heavy oil, residual oil, catalytic cracking raw materials and intermediate products.

Scenario description:

Detect the residual amount of catalyst particles (such as fluidized catalytic cracking catalysts) during the refining process to avoid equipment wear or downstream process pollution caused by high ash content.

Monitor the residue oil ash fraction after vacuum distillation and optimize the cracking process parameters.

2. Quality control of petroleum products

Application objects: lubricating oil, fuel oil (diesel, aviation kerosene), asphalt, paraffin and other finished products.

Scenario description:

Lubricating oil: Determine the residual ash content of additives (such as metal detergents) to ensure compliance with GB/T 508 or ASTM D482 standards, and prevent mechanical wear caused by excessive ash content.

Fuel oil: Detect inorganic residues (such as sulfides and metal oxides) after combustion, evaluate combustion cleanliness and engine compatibility.

Asphalt: Ash content affects paving performance and must meet road material specifications such as JTG E20.
