I. Use And Scope Of Application

intelligent cone penetration meter is an innovative patented product with independent knowledge, which is designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations of the People's Republic of China standard GB/T 269-91 "Cone penetration test method of grease and petroleum grease" and referring to the international standard ISO2137 "Cone penetration test method of grease and petroleum".

Cone penetration is an index to measure the consistency and hardness of grease, which refers to the depth of cone falling into the sample under the specified load, time and temperature. Its unit is indicated in 0.1mm. The larger the cone penetration value, the softer the grease, and vice versa, the harder it is.

This instrument is mainly applicable to the determination of the consistency of lubricating grease and petroleum jelly, and it also applies to the determination of the consistency of oil-containing waxes without perspiration and degreasing; this is also in line with the testing performance stipulated in the standard of GB1790-2003 "Pharmaceutical Vaseline", and it is widely used to measure the softness and hardness of the lubricating grease, vaseline, and pharmaceutical ointment products or other semi-solid substances. So it is of great importance in the process of designing, controlling the quality, and identifying the characteristics of the products. It is widely used in medicine, electronics, food and other fields.
